The Headfirst Gamers is a baseball team program in Washington, DC featuring travel baseball teams for ballplayers 13–18. Our program has been recognized as an award-winning organization by the Positive Coaching Alliance and was recently named by the Washington, D.C. Home Plate Club as its Youth Organization of the Year.

For older players in search of demanding and focused select baseball teams, our Gamers travel baseball teams (13U–18U) are a great way to prepare for high school and college baseball.

The Headfirst Gamers program began in 2001 with a single 12U travel baseball team. It currently features over 100 ballplayers each season between the ages of 13 and 18. The program aims to develop youth baseball players in a positive yet demanding learning environment, free of parental coaching influence. All of our practices and teams are run by our trained professional coaching staff... With the Gamers, parents are fans only!
